Myron E. Schoen

Adopted by the CCAR at the 98th Annual Convention of
the Central Conference of American Rabbis
1987

WHEREAS Myron E. Schoen, F.T.A., has served as Director of the Joint Commission on Synagogue Management for 30 years, and

WHEREAS he has enhanced immeasurably the science of synagogue management through his devotion and extraordinary skill, and

WHEREAS he has guided administrators, rabbis, and congregations from difficulty to success, and

WHEREAS he has built libraries and resource files which have enriched our congregations in all areas from art and architecture to administration, and

WHEREAS this year, 5747/1987, he retires from active duty,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Central Conference of American Rabbis express its profound gratitude and high esteem for Myron E. Schoen for his efforts on our behalf and on behalf of our congregations and our movement, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we warmly endorse the action of our Executive Board in conferring upon him honorary life membership in our Conference
